The Brendemuhl family offers freshly picked corn by the baker's dozen at the Red River Market. Their produce also includes plums, peppers and more grown and picked fresh from the farm outside of Moorhead. It's truly a family operation, getting all of the Brendemuhl kids involved at the market!
As a passionate green thumb, Rachel Sailer left a career in finance in 2017 to pursue her dream of starting a vegetable farm. With the support of her husband, parents, and new day-job employer, she successfully expanded the family vegetable garden to a full-fledged market garden operation. Campbell Beach crops are grown on their family farm just 25 minutes west of Fargo on Highway 10.
What started out as a 8 x 12 patch in the back yard has turned into a veggie haven with little grass remaining and a growing green thumb. Dig It Produce starts their plants indoors and grows them with all organic practices. Every year they have grown more than they can eat and have a tradition of giving away free produce to work colleges, friends, and family. This year, Dig It Produce expanded into 30 acres outside of Fargo they can now grow even more! They want to join a community of like-minded individuals since, “there are not many our age that garden like we do. This way we can make sure no tomato is left behind”.

Dirt Head Microgreens is all about the microgreens grown in the Fargo area. The team at Dirt Head grow and deliver fresh micro greens to local area. They have a true passion for working in the dirt. Between the crew, they harvest 150 flats of new produce every two weeks in an indoor organic garden.

Family Roots Farm is a small family farm with the strong belief that good food starts with how it’s grown. Using heirloom plant varieties, processing food with farm-grown ingredients, and raising animals with respect are just some of the simple ways they keep in touch with their family roots. Located near Christine, ND, Family Roots offers many farm-raised items such as chemical-free produce, raw honey, farm fresh eggs, fresh herbs, jam, pickled produce, chicken, lamb, and pork.
Farm in the Dell is a local Moorhead Non-Profit Organization committed to providing employment opportunities to adults with developmental disabilities. These adults are the workforce behind the success of the produce garden. They plant the seeds, water, weed, harvest, clean and pack all of the vegetables.

A rural Minnesota venture with the intent to provide quality organic herbs and fresh cut flowers to local restaurants, markets, and individuals.
Gottenborg Apple Orchard is a family-owned orchard. Apple varieties offered include: Zester, Sweet Sixteen, Sweet Tango, Honey Crisp, Chesnut Crab, Red Max, Harlason, and Snowsweet. They take special pride in delivering apples picked at their peak ripeness. One of their goals has been to limit the trees from insecticides, pesticides and after fifteen years, they can honestly attest to having fulfilled that claim. Nothing beats the flavor of a Minnesota grown apple!

Heart and Soil Farm is a family-owned farm run by Amber and Ross Lockhart in the heart of the Red River Valley. They grow a diversified mix of fruits and vegetables using sustainable, organic practices. They believe that healthy soil grows healthy plants and strive to improve soil fertility through time-honored cultural practices, such as composting, green manures and crop rotation. Heart and Soil's mission is to provide healthy, local foods to our community and teach our children the importance of good land stewardship.

The Hildebrant family has been growing fruits and vegetables for three generations and have learned a lot along the way. Their farm is pretty small and that is how they like it. The Hildebrant's grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and utilize organic methods. It's their labor of love and they hope you think so too!
Ladybug Acres strives to bring high quality, fresh, and local produce to the FM area during our short, yet delicious growing season! Ladybug uses practices and inputs upheld by organic standards. All seed is untreated and GMO free. Their season starts with the sweetness of strawberries in July and ends with the vast array of pumpkins and squash in October.

Nourished by Nature's livestock are humanely raised in a natural setting without the use of GMO’s, synthetic hormones or antibiotics. The garden produce is raised using no-till farming, which has shown to enhance the nutrient-density of the produce due to healthy soils that are full of biology. They believe these practices lead to healthier plants and animals which provides an enjoyable dining experience for their customers. Nourished by Nature will be at the Red River Market once per month.
NURTURED PLAINS FARM
Nurtured Plains Farm is a diversified vegetable market farm in Located at the historic Probstfield Farm in North Moorhead. The farm was created to provide fresh, flavorful, locally grown produce to the Fargo-Moorhead community and to allow consumers the opportunity to connect with the food system. Nurtured Plains grows a wide variety of vegetables and herbs. Sam Rydell, a native of Fargo, owns and operates Nurtured Plains Farm. Sam spent the last three years working on farms across the country, before deciding to continue his passion of growing food in the place he calls home.

Prairie Petals is a flower shop and studio in downtown Fargo. They specialize in everyday arrangements, weddings and events. They are always up for doing something new, using fresh and dried flowers, plants, grass, bark, seeds, weeds, and anything else one can possibly harvest. Kimberly Hess, the owner and florist at Prairie Petals, has a unique eye for design, a true artist, and can be found on her prairie or in the ditch picking flowers.
Megan is a designer florist from Moorhead, MN. She loves gardening and being outside. Flowers are her passion, and she believes everyone should be surrounded by the beauty and amazing smells you get from flowers!

Mara Solberg raises a sheep herd which primarily feeds on grass and vegetation on her farm near Horace. Their wool is taken to a yarn spinner who uses early 19th-century equipment to create her easy-to-dye wool yarn. Mara's flock includes two dozen chickens who lay eggs throughout the week.

Sunrise Salmon is a small family owned fishing business from Fergus Falls, MN. Each summer they venture up to Bristol Bay, Alaska for the annual Sockeye Salmon run. They have their catch custom processed and brought back home to MN. In their commercial kitchen facility, they then smoke their salmon in small batches in the Northwest Pacific Style. They have been commercially fishing in Bristol Bay for 11 years and direct marketing their catch back home for 7 years.
Uncle Jesse's Produce is run by Jesse's Frolek, a life long corn and soybean producer who has shifted some of his small acreage to vegetable production just recently. His family operation has been run with soil conservation in mind as they have implemented 100% no-till and varying degrees of cover crops as well. These conservation-minded practices have trickled down to the produce operation to a good degree as well. Jesse is currently finishing up horticulture classes at NDSU for his master gardener's certification to better serve his customers. Uncle Jesse's offers a wide array of most every veggie cultivated in the southern red River valley.
