Chris's passion for cultivation was sparked in early childhood and was ignited further when a friend introduced him to mushroom farming, leading him to establish Fargo Fungi LLC. This urban mushroom farm, nestled in the heart of Fargo, reflects Chris's background in local restaurant kitchens and his desire to supply the community with unique culinary ingredients that are typically hard to find locally. Since its inception in 2021, Fargo Fungi has expanded its production and diversified its mushroom offerings each year, steadily growing its presence in the local community.

Family Roots Farm is a small family farm with the strong belief that good food starts with how it’s grown. Gottenborg Apple Orchard is a family-owned orchard. Apple varieties offered include: Zester, Sweet Sixteen, Sweet Tango, Honey Crisp, Chesnut Crab, Red Max, Harlason, and Snowsweet. They take special pride in delivering apples picked at their peak ripeness. One of their goals has been to limit the trees from insecticides, pesticides and after fifteen years, they can honestly attest to having fulfilled that claim. Nothing beats the flavor of a Minnesota grown apple!
