Alyssa Jones transformed her dream into Exit 44 Flowers & More, a flourishing flower farm, after a journey from novice gardener to knowledgeable floriculturist through a FARRMS internship and self-driven learning. Starting with just sixteen beds, her farm has expanded to 3 acres of annual and perennial blooms. Beyond cultivating a diverse array of flowers for arrangements and a build-your-own bouquet bar, Alyssa is transforming the space into an outdoor event venue. She's committed to enriching the community with locally grown flowers and championing sustainable growing practices, making her farm a beacon of beauty and environmental stewardship.

Founder Kimberly started drying flowers and creating unusual arrangements for the Hotel Donaldson when it opened in the early 2000's. In 2010, she opened her flower shop on NP avenue and then moved to the Loretta Building on Broadway in 2013. She grows all vegetables and flowers without pesticides or herbicides, and picks them from her prairie.

They are a 10-year strong non-profit, supported by selling their products at markets.
