We have partnered with MatBus to provide free bus rides to and from the Red River Market. Download our free bus ride coupons and present them on any fixed route. Bus ride coupons are valid 9am-3pm on Red River Market days.
Food Education
Cooking Demonstrations
Free cooking demonstrations take place at every market event at 11:00 am next to the stage in Broadway Square. Local chefs, dietitians, and food enthusiasts create recipes using ingredients seasonally sourced from the market and show you creative ways to prepare it. Each demonstration includes a tasting after the demonstration. Learn more about becoming a cooking demonstrator.
Bite Size Kids Club
The Bite Size Kids Club encourages kids to try foods that are new to them in fun and creative ways. Kids who try a sample from our cooking demonstrations receive a $1 token to use at any market booth. Look for more Bite Size programming when you attend the market!
Little Free Recipe Cart
Find our Little Free Recipe Cart in Broadway Square next to the stage. The cart is a library full of recipes from previous cooking demonstrations that will spark creativity with your home cooking.
